Who's That Girl???

No... I'm not referring to the sucky Madonna movie of the 80's. I'm referring to our girl, Ratzo. Luly and I laughed our asses off when the groomer brought her out on Monday. What a pathetic sight! The groomer asked me if I wanted her all shaved down, and I said, "Yes." The groomer said that she'd look like a big rat and I said, "No biggie. That's what she looked like when we adopted her." I honestly was not prepared for Ratzo's new streamlined look. If it wasn't for the little "hello" wiggle she has, I might not have believed she was our dog. She's seems much happier and cooler; although, she hasn't checked herself out in the mirror yet.

Well, the rains have started. What a surprise that we have two big leaks in the upstairs living room. The HUGE leak in the bedroom we finally got repaired only after we found the source. Typical shitty workmanship as the a-hole who installed a tv cable left a huge hole in the roof which then leaked directly into our bedroom. I'm talking 2 inches of water and a clean-up that took both of us about 45 minutes. To make matters worse, the roof on the terraza that Carlos said he knew how to shingle has numerous leaks. We'll need to get that fixed by someone who really knows what he's doing. It seems as if every time we turn around, there's a new problem that needs repair.

Tonight we have Mexican Train at Ed and Luly's. Carol and Ken will be there as well, and then off to Manzanillo to Toscana to celebrate Father's Day tomorrow evening. Yeah, it's hot and sticky, but thankfully, no mosquitoes yet.
Later.

  1. Hi Maria Esperanza,

Great blog. Best part is, there won´t really be hardly any mosquitoes. If someone told you to expect a lot of them after the 1st rains came, they were just being dramatic and too exitable.

    Keep on postin, girl!
